Current NOAA long range precipitation and temperature forecasts for the 2008-2009 winter months are calling for normal precipitation and above average temperatures.   For central Indiana this translates into the following figures.

   NYRS = Number of Years with non-missing data.
   Q1 = First Quartile (25th percentile).
   Q3 = Third Quartile (75th percentile).
   * = value >0 but less units resolution.
 

Monthly and seasonal total snowfall amount for selected station. The table is divided in eight columns. The first column is month/season name, the second column is mean value of snowfall. The third column is number of years with non-missing data or NYRS. The forth column is minimum value of snowfall, the fifth is the First Quartile or 25th percentile. The sixth column is median value of snowfall, the seventh column is the Third Quartile or 75th percentile, and the eight column is maximum value of snowfall.The table has 18 rows: 12 rows for each month from January to December, the Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn season rows, the Annual, and the season from August to July rows. All snowfall amounts are in inches.
